The RPA shall assist either the Students’ Union VP Executive with researching and developing policy positions in regard to relevant student issues.
The RPA shall undertake timely, regular, and relevant research work on post-secondary educational issues and external advocacy goals of the Students’ Union in conjunction with the VP Executive.
The RPA shall compile all research findings into reports or briefing documents for future use by the Students’ Union.
The RPA shall familiarize themselves with relevant policy and political news that affects students.
The RPA may be required to attend additional meetings with the VP Executive upon request.
This role will be compensated at a rate of: $16.50/hr
This role will be expected to work an average of 5hr/week, over 16 weeks/year. Totaling to approximately 80 hours.
